The Hive will serve as the central hub of the Summit – a space designed for connection, collaboration and exchange.

Delegates will gather here for coffee breaks and lunches, with opportunities to build networks and strengthen relationships throughout the event.

Delegates will be able to use the Summit app to arrange meetings in advance or on site, with dedicated spaces available for one-to-one or small group discussions. The app also enables connections and conversations to begin before the event and continue long after it concludes.

Alongside these opportunities, The Hive will provide a setting to meet Summit partners, speakers and those involved in the latest research – making it a dynamic and purposeful space.

On the evening of 9 July, all delegates are invited to gather in The Hive for drinks, dining and conversation.

This will be a relaxed and welcoming occasion to connect with peers, continue the day’s discussions and enjoy the shared spirit of the global IWG community.

On the evening of 10 July, following the formal ceremony to hand over the Secretariat to the next host nation, delegates are invited to join us for celebratory drinks and nibbles.

The remainder of the evening will be free, giving delegates the opportunity to set their own agenda and explore Birmingham’s vibrant canal side – with its many restaurants and bars located just steps from the ICC

The Hive will provide spaces for informal meeting.  There will also be a number of bookable boardrooms, offering delegates a dedicated space for private meetings or presentations.  These can be arranged through the Summit event app.
